Meredith Collins was deeply affected by her visit to Ellis
Island in New York last year. Her work is a sensitive portrayal of
six Italian migrants who travelled to a brave new world only to be
detained interminably at Ellis Island uncertain and fearful for
their future and that of their families.
Peter Miller's paintings continue with his preoccupation with
the transformation of his subjects through age, time and
environmental change.
