“Dionoia: A Diorama of Paranoia” David Ryan at the Suter Gallery
"Dionoia: A Diorama of Paranoia" an exhibition that entertains
the prophecies and doomsday theories associated with the end of the
world as we know it is curated by Anna Marie White for the Suter
Gallery, Nelson.
A constructed environment, thick with unease and anxiety this
exhibition features an installation and animation by
Whitespace artist David Ryan along with six other artists including
Ronnie Van Hout, Ben Pearce, Eddie Clemens and Peter Trevelyan.
Their works references fallen empires megalomaniac regimes,
disasters and apocalyptic narratives with work in 3 dimensions
including sculpture, installation and animation.
The exhibition is on from 19 November to the 6 February
