It is with great sorrow, that we acknowledge the passing of Lily Aitui Laita. Our heartfelt sorrow goes out to Lily's whanau at this sad time.
It has been our honour to have worked with Lily since 1998. During that time, we have toured Lily’s work to London, Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, Melbourne and New Caledonia and presented her work in many solo and group exhibitions nationally.
Lily was an artist of exceptional talent; her work is held in major collections nationally and internationally. Lily was a person of huge integrity, her support and loyalty to friends and colleagues, unwavering. Kenneth and I have always appreciated her friendship, loyalty and professionalism.
Lily will be greatly missed.
